Privacy notice
What happens to the details you send us, why we hold them, and how to ask us to remove them.
In short
We keep what an enquiry needs, and nothing more
Your enquiry is read by Shastri Ji Manishbhai Pandya and the small team supporting him. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.
Who is responsible for your information
UK Hindu Priest Ltd is the data controller for information submitted through this website. You can reach us on Manishbhai@ukhindupriest.co.uk or +44 (0) 7717 154 215.
Information collected through our forms
Only what you type into an enquiry or partner form: your name, email address, telephone number if you give one, the ceremony or service you are asking about, your preferred date and location if known, and your message. Forms also record a submission timestamp so we can limit automated abuse.
Why we hold enquiry information
We use what you send to respond to your enquiry and to administer a booking once it is agreed with you. We do not use it for advertising or profiling. This notice is reviewed periodically and will be updated if our processing changes.
Who else may process your information
Enquiries are stored in our own database and a notification is sent to us by email, so our hosting, database and email providers process the data in order to operate the service. The optional booking calendar on our Contact page is provided by a third-party scheduling service; the details you enter there are processed by that provider in order to arrange the appointment. Where a trusted partner could help with something you have asked about, we tell you first and only pass your details on if you agree. We do not sell your data.
How long enquiry information is kept
We keep an enquiry only for as long as is reasonably necessary to respond to it, to carry out a ceremony that follows from it, and to meet any legal or accounting obligation connected to it. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
Cookies and measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 (loaded through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use this site: the pages viewed, approximate location (town or country), device and browser type, how visitors arrived, and actions such as tapping the telephone, WhatsApp or email links and submitting an enquiry. This uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_*.
We do not use advertising cookies, Google Signals or ads personalisation, and we do not send names, email addresses or telephone numbers to Google Analytics. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
You can opt out at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page, or by installing Google’s browser opt-out add-on.
Otherwise, the only browser storage the site uses itself is essential or preference-based: your chosen language and cookie choice are remembered, and a sign-in session is stored if you use the admin or partner area. The booking calendar embedded on the Contact page is loaded from its provider (LeadConnector) and may set its own cookies within that frame.
Your rights over personal information
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email us and we will deal with it. If you are not satisfied with how we respond, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
