Terms of use
What this website is, what it does not decide for you, and how arrangements are actually confirmed.
Using this site
Guidance here, agreement in writing
Nothing on this website forms a booking. What applies to your ceremony is what we confirm with you directly.
Who operates this website
This website is operated by UK Hindu Priest Ltd, which supports the ceremonies led by Shastri Ji Manishbhai Pandya. You can reach us on Manishbhai@ukhindupriest.co.uk or +44 (0) 7717 154 215.
Enquiries and confirmation
Sending an enquiry does not hold a date and does not create a booking. A ceremony is confirmed only once we have spoken about it and agreed the arrangement, including who will perform it. Where additional priest support is required, this is discussed with the family before confirmation.
Explanations of tradition
The ceremony explanations on this site describe traditional practice as it is commonly observed. Customs vary between families, regions and sampradayas, and your own family's practice takes precedence over any general description here.
Not legal or professional advice
Pages that mention marriage law, venues or safety are general guidance and are not legal advice. In England and Wales a religious wedding can be legally recognised where it takes place in a registered religious building and the statutory requirements are met, with an authorised person or registrar involved. Many Hindu ceremonies held at hotels, marquees, gardens or other unregistered venues will not by themselves create the legal marriage. Couples should check the current guidance on GOV.UK and with their local register office. Any commemorative Vedic marriage certificate we provide is ceremonial only and is not a legal marriage certificate. Venue requirements for an open flame are decided by the venue.
How spiritual purposes are described
Pujas and rites are described in terms of their traditional spiritual purpose. No health, financial or other outcome is promised.
Independent trusted partner services
Where we mention other suppliers, they are independent businesses. You contract with them directly and we are not responsible for their work.
Content and accuracy
Text, photographs and graphics on this site belong to us or are used with permission and may not be reproduced without our consent. We keep the site accurate and up to date as far as we reasonably can. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
